THE ITINERARY
who we are
In 2004 writer-director Mike Booth and cinematographer Burak Oguz Saguner bonded over a mutual love of international cinema and a vision for what is possible in storytelling.
That vision incubated over the following fifteen years as they worked on respective projects, developing cinematic skills and taste until fate reunited them on the set of a feature film in the wilds of Tasmania.
Rekindling their boundless cinematic aspirations, they realised their destiny was to join forces and execute a vision for a new kind of cinema. A cinema that puts the complexity of human drama first, highlighting that simple is the path to the universal.
The Itinerary was born.
Next year they will make Rockhampton, a road movie set in the east coast of Australia.
